Venue

The wedding day will take place at Riverview Manor in the town of Hurt, Virginia, about 20 miles south of Lynchburg. The venue, dedicated mainly to weddings and other events, is a large property overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains.

We have chosen this place after a lot of searching, virtual visits and discussions with the owners, for its beauty and natural setting as well as the possibility of shaping the event as we wished.

The property contains a main manor house that will be used by the bride and her bridesmaids for their preparation before the ceremony.

The groom and his guests will occupy a small cabin during this preparation period. It is in this same cabin that the newlyweds will spend their wedding night, at the end of the day.

The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors on the property, near the main manor house. The festivities will then continue in the barn converted for the occasion.
